Native Pollinator Plant Guide for the Rocky Mountain Region

Avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and growing the right flowers, shrubs, and trees with overlapping bloom times will support pollinators and wildlife, and provide additional benefits to soil, water, and air quality. Flowers provide the nectar and pollen resources that pollinators feed on. Native plants, which are adapted to local soils and climates, are usually the best sources of food and shelter for native pollinators.
